Thank goodness for Dads!

We had a big project last weekend. I was doubting that we were going to be able to accomplish this task, wondering how just 2 of us were going to manage this, feeling a bit disappointed - then our wonderful Dad's pulled through for us. So I just had to create an art journal/week -in-review page spread thanking them.

I started with some stencils, ink, gesso, and acrylic paint for the background.

I then added some torn patterned paper, washi tape, and more stenciling.

Next came the pictures of the guys working hard and a bit of journaling.

Then some more stenciling, this time with modeling paste.

And here is a look at my planner page. I used white gesso, Distress Ink, and splashes of acrylic paint for the background.

I am submitting this to 2 challenges. Over at the Frilly and Funkie blog the challenge is Stencils. The Inspiration Journal is having an Everything Goes Challenge. So just one more big thank you to our Dad's - just goes to show you are never too old to still need your Dad! And as always thanks for stopping by.
