Down the Rabbit Hole

I am a member of the Art for the Creative Mind Yahoo Group and this month's tag swap is Down the Rabbit Hole.  I decided to combine the swap tag with the tic tac toe challenge over at A Vintage Journey.

I felt like the rabbit hole might have alot of texture to it, so I started out with some Clear Granular Gel and metallic paint. I then added in some Distress Paint and black spray ink. I let the different colors run and drip together. So far I have paint and sprays in the tic tac toe board

After the gel was dry I went back over the top of it with some Black Archival Ink to accent the peaks.

I flipped through some of my collage images and came up with perfect Alice in Wonderland figure and adhered her upside down to my tag (as if she was falling off of the tag). I have no idea now where this image came from. I typed up the saying and then burnt the edges a bit with my heat gun.

The clock images came form the Graphic Fairy. I printed them out and then applied Crackle paint over the top of them. Once the Crackle was dry I inked them up a bit more and applied some Tim Holtz Clock hands that I painted and Spritz with Perfect Pearls Spray. I now have the Idea-ology box marked off. I added in some twine so the clocks looked like they were dangling from above. And I now have Tic Tac Toe :)

And there you have it my Down the Rabbit Hole Tag. I hope you liked it. As always thank you for stopping by!
