Over at the One Little word the Word for this month is Fear. This was an interesting one for me. I don't feel like I am afraid of too many things. I don't really have any phobias. However when I really sat down to think about this I came up with lots of fears about my art. Even as I type that word art I kind of cringe. Not because I don't like art or don't enjoy the process of creating. It has more to do with can I really call what I do art? Are my creations good enough to be called art?

When I came across this quote about letting go of your fears to make room for your dreams, I knew exactly what I wanted the page to look like. I started out with some acrylic paint - smooshing it around and dripping it down the page.

I then borrowed an image form the Graphics Fairy. The head image had some words already written in it. So I took those out and added in my fears. I then mirrored that image and added in words to overcome these fears. Next I transferred both images onto my page.

Lastly I added in my quote using Tim Holtz Industrious Stickers that I painted.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you can overcome the fears you may have. I am still working on mine.
