The Good Life

I am back with another weekly spread. This was a good week as you can see in the pictures.

Before I start in with how I did the pages - let me apologize for the glare in the pictures. For some reason I just could not get the glare to go away this time. I started with some yellow and green acrylic paint and spread it around using an old credit card. I then applied some blue acrylic paint on top of that. While the blue paint was still wet I laid down a stencil and wiped the blue paint off, revealing the green and yellow paint underneath.

I thought the background was a bit to dark so I added in some white and fluorescent pink paint through some stencils. The circles are pink Gelatos through a stencil. I then went around them with a white Krink pen and let the ink drip down the page slightly.

While working on the background I had extra paint that I swiped onto a piece of deli paper. I decided to use this for my days of the week and dates. I simply wrote the days out with a white pen, then cut them out of the deli paper, nad adhered them to my page with Matte Medium. Once the glue was dry the pieces look as though they had been part of the background the entire time.

I then added in my snapshots form the week and journaled.

Lastly I added in "the Good Life" saying with a black pint marker and white pen for highlights.

I am submitting this to the Simon Says Stencil Challenge. As always thanks for stopping by and i hope you have a fantastic week!
