I am back today with a quick little week in review post. I am a bit behind in journaling my weeks. So I was attempting to do a quick page.
I started out with some copies of handmade paper. I have a ton of handmade paper just lying around begging to be used. This paper was created by swiping 3 different purple acylic paints across with an old credit card. Then I added in some white and black acrylic paint.
I decided to cut the paper up into 2" squares. I then inked up the edges of each square with Deep Purple Archival ink. This way when the squares are adhered to the page the edges still stand out.
Next I cut out larger squares and folded in the edges. I also inked around the folded edges.
I adhered my words onto the folded squares and then adhered 2 of the folded edges to the page. This way the words pop off the page a bit. I then added in my photos for the week. And there you have it a fairly quick page (the cutting the squares took the longest)
I am submitting this to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Fold it Challenge. I vow to start using more of my handmade papers. Thank you for stopping by today!
