More Spring Flowers

I must be in a flower kind of mood lately. I hope I am not boring you with all of my flowers, but today I have a twist to share on the traditional die cut flower.

I started out with some watercolor paints, Dylusions Sprays, Perfect Pearls Sprays, and some stencils.

Next I cut out flower petals from the Tim Holtz Faniciful Flight Butterfly die, using the butterfly wings as petals. I cut them out of deli paper I had printed on with the Gelli Plate. I then cut out some more flowers from the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die. I layered all of them together and added a little dot in the center with Stickles.

I drew the flower stems on with the Distress Mowed grass Marker and then went over them with a wet piant brush for more of a watercolor look.

Lastly I added my saying to a tag and adhered that to my page.

I am going to submit this to 2 challenges. Art with Heart May Flowers Challenge and the S.W.A.T. May Flowers Challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by.
