I am back with yet another brightly colored flowered Spring page. This just seemed fitting and I could not help myself. One of the highlights form last week was my cousin's outdoor wedding. It was a beautiful Spring day and and such a wonderful wedding.
I started out with a bunch of leftover scrap pieces, some modeling paste and some crackle paint.
I then went over the layers with some acrylic paint. I used a stencil with some acrylic spray and also added some stamping for even more texture and interest.
Next it was time to tone it down a bit. I used a very light coat of white paint over top of everything.
I also added in some more stamping. It is a bit difficult to see, but the crackle paint really adds a nice texture in places.
I wanted to pop out the flowers a bit so I used a black Gelato to go around them. I then added in some white dots with a paint marker.
Next I journaled onto some notebook paper. I then cut it up and adhered it to my page.
Lastly I added in some butterflies cut out of a napkin, my pictures, and some vellum accents.
I am submitting this to The Artistic Stamper In the Garden May Challenge. Be sure to pop on over there for even more inspiration and as always thank you for stopping by.
