A few Words

I am hoping what they say is true  - A kind gesture and a few words can brighten someones day.  I belong to a few art groups where I am going to pick a few names at random and they will get a little package of goodies in the mail. Here is a preview of the goodies.

I decided to make up the fun mail art with some of my handmade collage and painted papers. I first made colored copies of the papers and then cut them up into 3x4 cards.

Next I added in some doodling and an inspirational word with some paint markers and pens.

I then took the scraps of paper I had leftover, cut them down to fit some binder clips I had laying around, and glued the paper to the clips. I then added a rub-on word form Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs.

I figured the binder clips can be used as a stand to hold the cards or they can be as a decorative element on any project.

There you have it mail art. I am submitting this to the Frilly and Funkie Word Challenge. Thank you for stopping by and I hope the recipients like my pieces as much as I enjoyed making them.
