My latest craze

I am obsessed with making these cute little collage paper doll girls. I saw Teesha Moore make these on the Artstronauts Club and just had to try my hand at them. I have about 6 of them made up, but have not had time to do anything with them until now.

I started by collaging together some canvas, doilies, vintage ribbon, stamped tissue paper, and some vintage sewing patterns. This was collaged over an inked up page so some of the pink ink is still poking through.

Next I added various colors of Gelatos that went with my girl. I wiped them over the collage with a damp baby wipe. I then went back over some areas with a black gelato to highlight them and keep the page looking more vintage like.

Next I adhered my girl down this is what she looked like originally.

And now after adding some magazine pages, copies of my own art journals, a vintage girls face, and some pen work she looks like this.

Lastly I added in my sentiment with a black marker.

I am going to submit this to the Frilly and Funkie On the Runway Challenge, as I think my girl quite the fashionista. As always thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out the challenge for a chance to win a gift certificate from the Filly and Funkie Boutique.
