Swing

Something about swinging that takes you back to your childhood. I used to love lean way back and let my hair blow in the breeze. I felt as if I was flying. This is my take on the latest Lifebook lesson by Tamara Laporte.

I started the page out with a pencil sketch. I then used some masking fluid of the girl, butterflies, and flowers.

Next step was some spray inks for the background. I used Neocolor water soluble crayons for the tree along with some acrylic paint for the high and low lights.

I then started to fill in the details with more acrylic paint, water soluble crayons, and markers. I added some shading in with colored pencils.

I added some white dots with a paint marker to my background for a bit more interest.
Last step was the poem. I am going to submit this to Inspiration Journal A Splash of Color challenge. Be sure to head on over there and check out all of the creations for more inspiration.

I would like to thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a colorful day!
