My Rainbow Road

I have been listening to Pixie Cambpell's Outlaw Spirituality video series. One of the video's talked about making more spiritual choices and creating your own Rainbow Road. I was drawn to this idea and was inspired t make a journal page based on this phrase.

I started out by tearing up a map and gluing it down to my art journal.

I then sketch my road in. I took plain old cheap crayons, melted the tips and dripped them down each side of the road. This was my way of creating a colorful rainbow.

I then took pictures from my week that had special meaning to them and adhered them to my road.

I thought the edge of the road needed jazzed up a bit. I took some black cardstock and used a Martha Stewart edge punch to add a decorative edge along the road. I am going to submit this to the Inspirational Emporium challenge use punches or die cuts. Be sure to check out the challenge for a chance to win a great prize.

I want to thank you for stopping by and I hope your road is full of happy rainbows!
