Winter Glitter

I am a big fan of Winter. I know crazy, but I love the snow and the way it makes everything so crisp, clean, and sparkly. Here in Ohio if there is not snow on the ground it is just brown and grey. I decided to make a winter tag showcasing this.

Most of my stamps are temporarily packed away so I had to improvise a bit on the background. I used the Tim Holtz Distress paint along with the splatter dots stamp form the Bitty Grunge set to replicate a winter wonderland. I then went over it with Distress Rock Candy Crackle Paint to give it a shimmery feel.

The corrugated cardboard represents the brown, but when you add some white paint and stickles over the top it just makes it look better (at least I think so)

I then added a cute vintage girl from The Graphics Fairy and some wood snowflakes. The snowflakes are painted with Distress Paint and then coated with Clear Rock Candy glitter.

I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Ice Inspiration. Be sure to stop over to see the wonderful creations. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying winter wherever you are.
