I used acrylic paint, Pan Pastels, Distress Crackle Clear Rock Candy, Tim Holtz Stencils, and modeling paste for my background. I just kept layering things as I went along until I was happy with it.
To enhance the crackle paint I went back over it with a wash of acrylic brown paint, let that sink in to the crevices and then wiped it off the top with a baby wipe.
One of my goals for 2014 is to record everyday or at least the a moment in every week through pictures. I have struggled with this in the past thinking that my little boring life was really not worth recording everyday. Who would find it interesting? However, I have come to the conclusion that it is worth it to me (no matter how anyone else perceives it). So this is how last week looked for me.
I am submitting my Journal spread to a few challenges. The first one is The Paper Girls Challenge Wishful Thinking. I am wishing and hoping many possibilities come my way. The second is The Scrap It Girl New Years Resolution - of course mine is to keep up with recording my life. AS always thanks for stopping by. I hope you find many doors opening for you in 2014!
