Hope Sketch layout

I am back with another art journal scrapbook page layout. This one is about a lot of patience, hopes, and dreams.

I followed the sketch layout over at S.W.A.T. for my first page.

The challenge was to use buttons on your page. This was a big challenge for me as all of my buttons are packed away. So I improvised.  I cut out several circles from black cardstock and then glued them on top of each other. I than cut out a circle form decorative scraps of paper and glued that onto the stacked cardstock. Lastly I punched out holes and threaded some embroidery thread through them.

Page 2 has a flap made out of deli paper that I had already painted on. I thought the saying went really well with how I was feeling this past week. We have been hoping and dreaming of building our new house for what feels like an eternity now. This week we finally received some good news, our lot is ready to go. I thought this was a perfect layout to submit to the Electric Paperie Hope Challenge.

I cut out a house out of decorative papers and adhered it to my sprayed Dylusions background. I added some doodling around the house and journaled on the inside of  the flap.

As always thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
