2014 Resolution

It has been forever since my last post. The end of 2013 was not so pleasant and I just lost my Mojo. So with the start of 2014 I decided to get it back. My artsy New Years Resolution is to get back into art journaling everyday. Here is my first page for the new year.

I started by journaling on a piece of watercolor paper. I then went over that with  Neocolor II crayons and Tim Holtz Distress paint.

To add a bit of texture I used The Tim Holtz bubble stencil.

I then added some hearts cut form some vintage printed papers. I then added some encouraging words to myself. I am entering this in the Frilly and Funkie New Year's Resolution challenge. Hope you enjoyed my first page. Please stop back as I really hope to keep my resolution.

  1. So sorry to hear you had a rough end to the year, but it is great to hear you are starting 2014 on a more positive note. I love this journalling. Great colours and the drips and dribbles really add to the whole movement on the page. And then of course your heartfelt resolution is to be applauded. Thank you so much for joining us at Frilly and Funkie with this. Jenny x
