Happy Easter

Since it is Easter weekend, I decided to create an Easter bag instead of a tag to enter in the 12 Tags of 2013- March challenge over on Tim's blog. The bag is filled with yummy Easter treats.

I did not have the dies that Tim used so I had to improvise a bit. I used the Cabinet die instead and cut my bunny out of the Cricut. I used picket fence Crackle Paint on the die cut piece and then inked it up a bit. The bunny has been sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Glitter and then colored with alcohol ink.

I don't have the s=distress paints yet, so I improvised again with the flowers. I used various Distress Embossing powders on them. I love the texture this gives to the flowers. The grass at the bottom I just hand cut myself.

The side of the bag was kept pretty simple. I simply glued another piece of paper from the seasonal paper stash and added the grass to the bottom. The edges of the entire bag are inked with Bundled Sage Distress Ink. This started out as a plain old white paper bag.

I am also submitting this to the Funky and Frilly Easter/Spring Gift, but not in a Basket challenge.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
