And your Fortune is

So I have to admit I am a bit superstitious when it comes to fortune cookies. I must eat the entire cookie before reading the fortune and then the fortune must be read out loud in order for it to come true. I know a bit crazy especially when you read what some of these fortunes say. Anyways I am participating in an ATC fortune cookie saying swap and here are the ATC's I have made.

I was inspired by a pop up card tutorial over at Spiltcoast Stampers. I altered the dimensions to fit the ATC size and when you pull the little tag out the ATC pops-up.

I cut the umbrella man out of Shrinky Dink plastic using the Tim Holtz die. I then inked him using Alcohol ink and shrank him down to size. The rain bow was made using Distress Markers and a water brush. I then added some drops of glossy accent to look like rain.

I inked the background with Stormy Sky Distress stain and then used a stamp from the Tim Holtz mixed media set also inked in Stormy Sky.

For the travel fortune ATC I stamped the map with black Archival ink and a stamp form the Tim Holtz Air Travel set.

The background is inked with Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans Distress Ink. I darkened the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and added some Brushed Corduroy Distress Embossing Powder.

Lastly I stamped the truck with The journey Stamp set and embossed it with the Brushed Corduroy Embossing Powder. I fussy cut the stamped image out and popped it up off of the ATC.

I am submitting this to Simon Says Stamp Challenge Anything Goes. Pop on over and submit something for a chance to win a gift certificate!. Thank you for stopping by. and I hope you have good fortune in whatever you do today.
