Christmas Card Time

I spent the last several days making Christmas Cards, determined to get them in the mail on time this year.

When I saw Shelly Hickox's 3-D Christmas Tree card I was inspired. I did not have the tree die she used, so I just cut mine out using my Cricut. I love that the tree pops out, but will fold flat so it can easily be mailed.

The inside of the card uses the Pop-n-Cut die from Sizzix and the floating floor technique that Karen demonstrates here. I just love the added dimension this gives the card.

The leaping reindeer was cut out of the Reindeer Flight die by Tim Holtz. I added a bit of bling to dress him up a bit. I added some shimmer to the moon behind the reindeer with Perfect Pearls. The texture was created with the Cracked Embossing folder.

The little Christmas village was cut from the On The the Edge townscape die. I then used Distress stain to color each house and added a bit of shimmery snow with Frosted Lace Stickels.

I am submitting this card to the Simon Says Anything Goes Showcasing Martha Stewart challenge. I don't have a lot of Martha Stewart products, but I do have some of the edge punches. I just love these punches and I punched the snowflakes out using one of  these.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope this puts you in the mood to send someone special a Christmas Card.
