A Textured Friendship

I am blessed to have such a great friend. She recently saw a page I did showcasing our friendship and asked me to make her a similar piece using her favorite picture of us and a tag I had made her.
The background is a mixture of Dylusions spray inks and Distress Inks, along with some stencils and stamps. I tore up the edges of the paper and punched random areas for a bit more texture.
I added even more texture with corrugated cardboard and embossed cardstock. Speaking of texture I am submitting this to the Frilly and Funkie Let's see some Texture Challenge. The added optional twist on the challenge was to use  material as part of the texture - so I added a bit of painted and inked burlap.
I made most every flower on this page using scraps of red, blue, white, and black material and paper. Some of the flowers were created using the Tattered Florals Die and other I made by sewing and gluing material together. I am also submitting this to the Inspiration Emporium For the love of the Red, White , and Blue challenge (not really 4th of July related, but all the colors are there).
The last challenge i am entering this in is the Simon Says Stamp and Show Layered Challenge. Too many layers to count on this creation so I think it is perfect for the challenge. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this post and have a wonderful friend to share great times with.
