Spritz and Flick

This is the last page I needed to create for The Summer Travel Chunky Book swap I am hosting on the All Things Tim Group. Linda at Studio L3 gave me the extra push needed with this weeks super fun challenge Spritz and Flick from the Compendium of Curiosities Volume II Book.

I used the Spritz and Flick technique on my background with Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks . I encourage you to try this out. Like I said it is supper fun and easy, plus by entering into the challenge you have a chance to win a gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp. I also used stamps from the Tim Holtz Mixed Media set and the Lost and Found set for some added interest.

To add some texture and grunge to the page I stamped the car using a stamp from The Journey set and them embossed it with Black Soot Embossing Powder.

The Vintage post card came from Tammy Tutterow. She has some great free vintage images. To add even more of a vintage feel to it I distressed and inked  the edges with Vintage Photo distress Ink. The ticket behind the postcard is stamped with Black Archival Ink and Inked up with Salty Ocean, Mowed Grass, vintage Photo, and Weathered Wood Distress Ink.

Lastly the little key is cut out of Shrink Plastic using the Tim Holtz Hardware Findings Die. I then inked it using Stream, Caramel, Copper, and Pitch Black Alcohol inks. Then I heated it and watched it shrink.

I am also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp and Show No Rules Challenge, just because anything goes! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the last page of the book.
