Tickets, Tickets, and more Tickets

As a member of the All Things Tim Group, I have had the opportunity to host a wonderful ticket swap. This was a fun one and easy to get carried away with. You can see my  tickets below with lots of goodies and techniques used. I must tell you they are addicting and here is video where the addiction all started.

The first ticket strip was created with a stamp form Tim Holtz's Attic treasures and stamped using various colors of Distress Markers.
For the background I used a stamp from the Attic Treasures set and Squeezed Lemonade, Peeled Paint, and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks. The 2 corner pieces are a flea market find.

I decided to make some individual tickets as well. For these I used a stamp from Red Lead Paper Works. I stamped it with Archival ink and then heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder. I then colored the stamped image in with various colors of Distress Markers. I used Tumbled Glass Distress ink and Diamond Stickles and water colored the background. You can really see it sparkle in person.

For the next ticket strip I used various tissue tapes on the background and inked it with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I also used stamps from Tim Holtz's mixed Media set and stamped them with White and Silver Paint Dabbers.

I then added some ideology pieces and some flea market finds.

The last and final strip I used a Paint Dabber resist techniques with a stamp form Tim Holtz's Shabby French set and the Lettuce Paint Dabber.

I added some embossed Foliage pieces to the strip along with a few more ideology pieces and some more flea market finds.
I of course just could not stop with the tickets. so I decided to make an extra ticket for each of the 35 swap players. Each of these tickets have an added Tim Charm that I made using a picture from a recent class I took with Tim and the Type Charms. I thoroughly enjoyed making these - my favorite is the metal looking ticket.
So thank you for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to go and create some tickets!
