Tissue Wrap Grad Card

This week's challenge at L3 Studio is Tissue Wrap from the Compendium of Curiosities Volume 2 book. Since it is graduation season and I have a niece and nephew graduating, I decided to make a Grad card using this technique.

I simply cut out a 4" square from white card stock and used the Tissue Wrap technique. I then cut out a piece of black card stock and embossed it with a few stars using the Tim Holtz stamp set and Dusty Concord and Silver embossing powder. The tassel is made out of embroidery thread and attached with some glue and a brad.

Thank you for stopping by and please head over to L3 Studio to play along for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from the Funkie Junkie Boutique .

  1. What a great idea! Love this technique for a grad's cap... the color looks awesome on the creases.
