Oh Happy Day!

It is Friday, the sun is shining , my fingers are all painted and inky, and I have completed another art journal page. Hence the Oh Happy Day!

I just love the Doolally Dora Stamp set from Dylusions. I colored her in with Distress Markers. I think she is just too cute. The little bird is stamped from Tim Holtz's Shabby French stamp set using again the Distress Markers.

And then speaking of cute the mushrooms (from the Doolally Dora Stamp set) remind me of something out of Alice and Wonderland. I cut the fence out from some left over papers I had lying about. I went around it with a black marker to make it pop out a bit.

The sun is cut out of white paper, painted, and then stamped on with the Shabby French stamp set. The sun's rays are stamped in Sunshine Yellow acrylic paint dabber using a stamp from Tim Holtz's Bitty Grunge set.

The background is several colors of blue and white acrylic paints. I added texture with the paints by using some bubble wrap as a stamp. I also used the Tim Holtz Washer Border die cut as a stencil.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are having a Happy Day!
