Capturing the memories

I really love scrapbooking and capturing the moments and memories. I have had these few scrapbook pages done for some time now and just have not gotten around to posting them. I used a lot of different papers for layering and added some handmade embellishments.

The first few pages are hiking the Great Smokey Mountains. A very scenic area.

This was a big climb up to the peak of the Chimney Tops.

I really like how the leaves came out on this page. I inked them up, dry embossed them,  and then applied Rock Candy Crackle to them and inked them one more time.

We finally made to to the top!

The next few pages are from some of the wineries in the Great Smokey Mountain region.

I used glossy accents over some wine stickers and popped them up for some added dimension and interest.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my scrapbook layouts.

  1. Great layouts! So good to see others actually doing the traditional scrapbook thing (me, too). It's so much harder to photograph layouts, though! I don't post a lot of mine for that reason (well, maybe the real reason is I don't feel like mine are that "special"--these really are)!
