Mad for Plaid

I got my Grungy Monday Card done this afternoon and I just have to say I love the plaid technique. Linda at Studio L3 has brought to us a wonderful Tim technique using Alcohol Inks to make a plaid pattern. It is so easy and fast and so very cool. I decided to use the challenge to make an Easter card, as it is right around the corner.

I used a fun Easter stamp and water colored it with distress ink refills in various colors. I also added some lavish trimmings ribbon and stained it with Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, and Bundled Sage Distress Stain. For the plaid background I used Lettuce, Shell Pink, Aqua, Lemonade, Peach Bellini, and Pitch Black Alcohol Ink. Don't forget to check out Linda's blog for more information on the challenge and a chance to win a shopping spree from Simon Says Stamp.
