Exciting News Please vote for Me!

I have a very exciting announcement to make. I have been selected as one of the Heartfelt Creations Design Team Semi-finalist. I am both honored and overjoyed to have been chosen as one of the semi-finalists for this rubber art stamp manufacturer. If you are not familiar with the wonderful Heartfelt Creations line you should check out their website.
Heartfelt Creations has chosen some wonderful semi-finalists and I need your support to get to the final round. So if you like what you see please jump on over to the Heartfelt Creations Blog and cast your vote. As a thank you for voting you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Gift Certificate from Heartfelt Creations.

I submitted three projects to make it to the semi-finalist round.
The first scrapbook layout is a double page ski trip called Fun Run. The techniques used on this layout include stamping, embossing, die cuts, layered papers and multiple photos matted. The circle snowflake embellishments were stamped with distress ink and embossing ink. To add a bit of shimmer some of the snowflakes were embossed with white embossing powder.

The second scrapbook layout is a double page snowy ski trip. This layout has a bit more bling on it. The snowflakes are made with glossy cardstock, die cut and inked with various alcohol inks. I then added some pearls and jewels to accent them a bit more. The snowy circle embellishment on page 2 was made by stamping on acetate and cardstock. I then applied glitter and various inks to the acetate and smooshed tissue paper, the acetate and the stamped cardstock together. The final image was then layered onto 2 colors of cardstock.
The third project is an easel card. This card can sit out on display. The card background was made using a custom made cloud mask and ink. The tree branch is dry embossed and then the raised areas have been inked. The swing was also custom made and colored using a water color distress ink technique. The cut girl on the swing and the little bird in the tree were both stamped on watercolor paper and then colored using the same water color distress ink technique. The paper flowers on the bottom of the easel are colored with water colors and then a bit of shine was added using hot press crystals. The sentiment was stamped onto an inked die cut shape and then matted again.

Again I am so very happy to be chosen as a semi-finalist and I hope to make it as a finalist for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team. If you enjoyed my projects please go here to vote for me for the final Design Team. You can only vote one time and you need to select 5 or more semi-finalists. Voting ends April 13th. Thank you for your support and for stopping by.
